Nothing says school spirit quite like representing your Alma Mater dressed from head to toe in university apparel. From football games to alumni events to an afternoon on the town with family and friends, there really isn’t a bad time to rock represent your school … students and alumni alike.
Set in the heart of Laramie, Wyoming—just a few hours north of Denver—is the University of Wyoming. Pride runs deep. School spirit runs high. The track team runs … too. With just over 13,000 students, the university is the largest in the state of Wyoming. Founded in 1886, it’s the oldest. And now, it’s the first (and only) university in the Midwest to have their very own University of Wyoming cowboy boot covers.
University of Wyoming Cowboy Boot Covers
Way back when in the early days of 2014, our team took on the task of taking on collegiate athletic licensing in order to bring BootRoxx boot covers to universities around the nation. The process has been long, and we have had to overcome various obstacles while on our way.
However, there is nothing that we wanted to see more than BootRoxx boot covers on the heels of students, alumni, professors and residents of schools throughout America. So, we kept on keeping on. Now, we are proud to offer our rocking BootRoxx at two universities: the University of Nevada, and, now, the University of Wyoming.
A Boot-Rockin’ Town Called Laramie
The “Gem City of the Plains,” also known as Laramie, Wyoming, is city with a presence all its own. Just a short drive west of Cheyenne, Laramie rest on the junction of US I-80 and US Route 287. A haven for outdoor enthusiasts, Laramie boasts wide plains, lakes, mountain ranges and more, offering nearly every outdoor activity imaginable.
In case you haven’t heard of Cheyenne Frontier Days, it’s worth looking into. Why? Well, it just so happens to be the biggest rodeo in the world. With contestants competing for more than $1 million, the rodeo transforms the small town into a Mecca of romping, rowdy, rodeo fun.
